• 6 hours — A good fit for smaller or single-venue weddings. Typically covers late getting-ready, the ceremony, portraits, and the key reception moments (entrances, toasts, first dances, cake).
• 8 hours — The most common choice. Enough room for a relaxed getting-ready window, a first look if you want one, ceremony, full portraits, and a solid stretch of reception including open dancing.
• 10+ hours — Best for larger weddings, multiple venues, longer travel between locations, or when you want everything from early prep through a big exit.

A note on tricky timelines and lighting: a November ceremony at 4:30 p.m. means portraits in fading light, and a summer wedding might put you outside at high noon. We plan around that and shoot confidently in it, so a hard-light ceremony or a dim reception hall doesn’t cost you the photos you were hoping for.

Add-Ons Worth Considering

Once the core coverage is set, a few optional pieces can round out your collection:

Second shooter

A second photographer gives you two angles at once — the aisle and your partner’s face during the ceremony, the room and the detail, candids of guests while we’re focused on you. For larger weddings, or any day where getting-ready is happening in two locations, a second shooter earns its place quickly.

Engagement session

An engagement session is a low-stakes way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding, and it’s a natural way for us to learn how you two actually interact. It’s available with our collections, and often included — which tends to make the wedding day feel easier, because by then we already know each other.

Videography

Photos freeze a moment; video keeps the sound of it — the vows in your partner’s voice, the laughter during toasts, the song you danced to. Because we offer both photography and videography, our two teams are used to working side by side without stepping on each other’s shots.

Albums

A professionally designed, printed album turns your gallery into something you’ll actually hold and hand across the table years from now. We design these for you from your favorite images rather than making you build it yourself.

The complimentary vintage audio guestbook

Every collection includes something we love: a vintage-style audio guestbook phone. Guests pick up the handset and leave you a recorded voice message — a toast, a joke, a piece of advice. Months later, hearing your grandmother’s voice or your college roommate’s terrible pun is the kind of thing photos can’t quite do. It comes with your collection, no add-on required.
